Psychological Thriller: Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney

Updated: Jun 16

Rating: 9/10

Dear Reader,

“Sometimes I Lie” by Alice Feeney is the kind of book you need to go in blind for. You’ll go through a roller coaster of emotions reading this. First and foremost, the voice of the narrator is great. It makes you forget all your conspiracy theories and trust the narrator, no matter how unreliable they are. I don’t want to spoil anything because it would ruin the experience of reading it, but trust that you will be angry and frustrated and feel pity for these characters. The diary entries were probably my favorite part of the whole story, it gave us a separate perspective without overwhelming us with information. The narrator kept readers in the dark and kept dropping bombs along the storyline, it was insane.
