Romance: Twisted Hate by Ana Huang

Updated: Jun 16

Rating: 7.5-8 / 10

Dear Readers,

Josh and Jules are classic enemies to lovers, and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed reading this. I inhaled the book in a matter of days. There’s the one bed trope, a little bit of fake dating, and a no strings attached arrangement. Jules is a gorgeous smarty pants who struggles with getting the respect of others due to her body and the way men oversexualise her. Unfortunately Josh, a doctor, has some moments that make me strongly dislike him, in particular his bad mouth. He occasionally says some things that are difficult to take back, and he does it more than once. But if you care more about the smut, which there is plenty of (level 5-6 spice rating). There isn’t necessarily a lot of super kinky smut, but it’s not totally vanilla either.
